The ZR4 Ziton wireless fire alarm system is a versatile wireless option for the Ziton ZP3 panel.  It can form part of a hybrid system with a hub which sits on a loop with hard wired devices, controlling  up to 31 wireless devices.

Ziton wireless hub and cluster system

The 4-loop ZPR868-H Ziton wireless hub allows a full  Ziton wireless system to be set up with a Ziton ZP3 panel.  This is done by installing a network of ZR400 wireless cluster communicators (24vdc), or ZR400 wireless cluster communicators (230v), that signal back to the hub.

This gives you a fully wireless system and allows up to 504 Ziton wireless devices to be installed. There is no limit on the amount of clusters you use on each loop, but there are only 127 available addresses on each loop, and each ZR400 cluster can take 31 Ziton radio devices.

Ziton wireless hybrid system – Using a ZPR868 Radio Loop Module (RLM)

As mentioned, you can also use the Ziton ZP3 panel to run a hybrid system, with a mix of wireless and hard wired devices.

This is done by installing a ZPR868 Radio Loop Module (RLM) onto a Ziton ZP3 panel loop.  31 Wireless devices can be programmed onto the RLM.  Only 2 RLM’s can be used on a single loop.
