The default code is 2000 (type 2000 and press the ‘enter’ key.
The new panels only have this one code as default, but older software versions had the following:
1000 – operator level (level 1 – basic)
2000 – Level 2
3000 – Level 3 (engineer level)
4000 – Level 4 (high level engineering code)
If you have tried the default code and it doesn’t work, it means the code has been changed.
If this is the case you will need to contact fire4u.co.uk. They will need a headed email from your end user giving fire4u permission to change the panel codes back to default.
Fire4u will then take your case to UTC Ziton, and if all agreed, they will give you permission to change the code back to default.
One of your engineers will then need to go to site, go to the panel and call Ziton Tech. They will talk the engineer through the sequence to default the codes on the panel. No data is lost during the process.
Fire4u charge a small fee of £75 for this service.
